Another perfect vacation spot - relax and do absolutely nothing on one of the gorgeous beaches or get really active with hiking, sightseeing, partying and so on. Everything within pretty much an hour drive distance when based around Palma. Speaking of Palma de Mallorca, it's got a real Barcelona vibe to it with a couple of ramblas, gorgeous old quarters, proud catalan flags and architecture. 

No ''muerte a los turistas'' ''welcome'' signs either as in Barcelona. All good then...

Gorgeous day trips thoroughly enjoyed to Valdemossa, Soller, Cap de Formentor and Cuevas del Drac in Porto Cristo. 

TRAVEL TIPS:

• Avoid lodging within S'Arenal area since invaded by loud out of control teens partying the whole night long in the streets. 

• Unless you're looking forward to exactly this type of experience. 

• Otherwise, you can always walk to Bierstrasse and impregnate yourself with the partying vibe (in case you really feel the need) while returning to your perfectly quiet stay 1 mile westwards in Platja.

• June or September better travel times to avoid high- season overcrowding 

• Practice your German and bring along earplugs to avoid getting fed up of Modern Talking style crowd favorites 😊
